Can anyone recommend good places to stay in Marrakech please ? We will have our 2 small children with us (4yrs & 9months) so central would be great and a pool would be an amazing bonus to help the kids cool down..!! We do not want expensive as on tight family budget

Also, we planned to go to the Atlas Mountains for a few days – where would be good place / hotel for walking (not too hard as have kids with us) and possibility of camel rides / night under canvas in desert ?

Then we planned to go to coast before heading back to Marrakech – any recommendations for places / hotels to stay on coast which would be good for kids ?

Cheers - Jeff

With kids, and on a tight budget, I'd spring for the Ibis Moussafir, which costs around 500-600/night (depends on season), has a nice clean pool, good buffet breakfast (kid-friendly) and is a chain, so pretty reliable. Accorhotels.com

My advice would be to skip the swimming...having at one time had young kids who picked up one of the bugs that infest swimming pools, even in the U.S. You really don't want to risk exposing them to germs their bodies have never experienced before. I may be overly conservative, but I don't think there is any such thing as a clean swim pool in Morocco.
Ask your doctor what he/she advises. Morocco is not a good place for adults to get sick, let alone children.

Hi, try benhirt71@yahoo.fr for accommodation, good and reasonably priced central and away from square / or red light places
