Hello,

My boyfriend and i are thinking of going to Morocco for 2 weeks over xmas and News Years.
We were just wondering what the weather will be like and this may be a stupid question but is it hot enough (maybe right in the south of Morocco) to get some sun and swim in the sea?!? Or is it really freezing!?

Thanks for any help!!

Go to yahoo.com, weather, Africa, Morocco and it will give you record and average temperatures and rainfall for various cities in Morocco, by month. Yes it may be cold in some areas, even rainy. Consider staying in a hotel that has heat--many do not.

Agadir area is ok in december for sun, not sure for swimming.

It was freezing cold with winds at night in Tan Tan and even as far south as Dahkla ... don't think you'll want to swim!

For swimming we are talking about the North Atlantic (or its influence if on the Med coast) in winter!

Ironically, the further south you go the colder it can getbecause of the desert being bloody freezing in winter. Cerainly get a room with heating, take something windproof for the evenings, and enjoy the clear skies during the days. It beats the hell out of northern Europe in winter.
