Hey, has anyone hiked around Chefchauen (in particular I'm interested in doing the Jabel El-Kelaa hike) and gotten a sense for whether it would be a comfortable hike to do alone? In addition, I'm a female, if that raises any safety issues. Or, if anyone is in Chefchauen and interested in doing a hike tomorrow (Mon) or maybe even Tuesday, holla.
The first hiking I did in Morocco was around Chefchaouen - but I'm male - and I was cautious. But it was fine. The dogs bark alot round the farms but the paths are well marked.

Trekking around Chauen is amazing, the views are stunning, and so is the kif! However be careful of peoplewantng to show you "akif factory" and such alike. Troubles coming your way if you say yes (usually anyways)reports of people being left up on the mountains unless they pay for the route down! And some of the paths are pretty dangerous to, gravel etc.
