I'm hoping to take a ferry from Tangier to Spain at the end of October. I checked the ferry websites (FRS for Tarifa and Transmeditteranea for Algeciras) and could not find any ferries operating at the end of October... does anyone happen to know if there is ferry service at that time?

Ferries run all year long from Algeciras to Tangier but with higher frequency during the summer months. A lot of bus/ferries websites don't allow you to book too far in advance so when you plug in dates too far in the future, they don't come up with anything.

On those things, and including on sites such as Renfe (for Spanish trains) you can't book more than 60 days in advance.

Thanks for the info. When I plug in the dates I get "Bad weather" in response, which makes me nervous. Is this just a function of it being too far in advance or actually limited service at that time?

Trasmediterranea doesn't let you view/book dates past Sept 15
