My partner and I will be traveling to Morocco in November. Enroute, we would like to spend time in Granada, Spain (via a flight into Malaga).
Are there any ferries leaving Malaga for Morocco? If so, what port do the ferries arrive at in Morocco?
If no ferries leave from Malaga, what is the nearest city in Spain from which a ferry would depart? What ports do they call at in Morocco?
Thanks...

Hi, before cheap airfares direct to morocco from London i used to have to fly to Malaga (or Gibraltar) and travel from there - i would never have the time to ferry from Malaga - its very time consuming! the fastest and most efficient from Malaga (2 - 3 hours 11 euro) is bus down to Algeciras and ferry from there.
if youre at malaga airport there is a bus from there that goes straight to marbella which is enroute of the bus from malaga bus station to algeciras so you might want to check the timetable at the malaga airport on a board at the busstop outside also where the bus , no 19, goes from the airport to the malaga bus station and see which is the next bus leaving.
www.elestrecho.com/viajes_mar. This homepage has links to all ferry companies except www.balearia.es. I suppose the cheapest crossing will be Algeciras - Ceuta by slow boat. There are trains from Granada to Algeciras. www.renfe.es
