I booked a tour via viator.com aka trip advisor for maroco majorelle garden and camel ride with local guide tour company navvete. I booked for 3 person which is more expensive than book for group because they charge you by person. But reality it was a sharing tour with others. I mailed a complaint and asked a refund, but they insist that they never mention that it will be a private tour. The question is why i have to pay more if i have to share with other people??? Dont trust them at all, once your money in, they will never give it out. Please...Never trust them at all. Just look for tour refference feom your hotel, more rely and easier to complaint if something happen.

I've written my thesis on this unfortunate incident on Tripadvisor, to avoid having to write it out again here is a direct link to the sad story.....

You only post on Lonely Planet and TripAdvisor to moan. Do you never have nice experiences?

..... and thanks for the warning, viewers who might just come across your post while browsing will hopefully keep it in mind.

Hopefully this won't put you off returning to Morocco again, or put them off visiting a fascinating country, from my experience Morocco it is more good and generous than mean, you were on this occasion by one outfit meanly treated.

If you book a tour via the auspices of your hotel, they will snatch a percentage fee on what you actually pay, so you are still going to be ripped off ( but surreptitiously and politely with a smile)......the trigger word "mean" must, as needs, evoke my usual Marrakesh caveats.....

I don't understand why anyone books online prior to arrival, you can sort out these things, negotiate the price and get it all sorted directly within a few minutes

Buyer beware indeed!!!
