Hi all,

My girlfriend and I are looking for people to join us on a 3 day desert trip from Marrakesh, starting Monday the 28th May for 3 nights. We are a NZ/ Aussie couple based in the UK and looking for fellow travllers to join with us to reduce the overall cost. For 4 people the cost would be 120 euro each (or if 5 or 6 of us, 110 euro each).

Day 1:

We Depart from Marrakech at 07:00hrs in a minibus or a 4x4. Along the way, we visit various sites until we reach Merzouga. We then experience a two hour sunset camel ride. The night is then spent in a berber desert camp under the stars or in tents.

Day 2:

After a traditional berber breakfast, we start our journey, going through the valley of roses and the gorges of Dades and Todra. We then experience a traditional berber meal and stay either in Bivouacs under the stars of the desert or in a local hotel.

Day 3:

After a traditional Berber breakfast we have a Two hour camel ride at sunrise to explore the are further. We then start our return journey to Marrakech, stopping off at many highlights on the way. Our journey takes us over the high Atlas mountains for the enjoyment of magnificent views of the surrounding country and to see the local communities who live in these mountains.

We return to Marrakech, arriving at around 17:00hrs or 18:00hrs.

What is included:

Driver & transportation in either 4x4 or minibus. English & french speaking guide to show you around the area and tell you about the communities. Accomodation in traditional Berber tents and Bivouacs. Half board: Breakfasts & Evening meals. Camel rides, as described.

What is not included:

Sleeping bags and pillows. However, Duvets and quilts & blankets are sold in Marrakech.
