Hello,
In few weeks I'm going to Morocco. My first stop will be in Casablanca. I'm planning to stay there just 2 days and I'm looking for a cheap accomodation for 2 persons with a bathroom in the room for 30 - 40 Euro maximum for 2 persons. We are backpackers tourists. Does anybody knows such accomodation??? Thank you. Joanna

The Ibis next to the train station, just don't take the breakfast!

I stayed at Hotel Foucault on rue Foucault (old name) not far from the place des Nations Unies right in the centre. I think it was around 120/130DH. Is that 12 euros? Anyway, it will be within your budget, easy to get a taxi from Casa Voyageurs there, shower en suite, bit drab but OK. (The taxi drivers will know it as rue Foucault by the way even though it has a new Moroccan name.) Best of the three cheapies I've stayed at.

It was clean enough with bathroom in the room and If I remember well the price was DHR 148 ( approx 15 Euro) - Breakfast was really good. If I remember well the price was DHR 148 ( approx 15 Euro) , but we were a big group.

try the youth hostel in the cantral medina, locals hang out to practice traditional music there some afternoons, in costume, so i got a great free show too! Is well located and i met friendly women near there who invited me to stay at their home after just 1 day too! spotlessly clean inside and breakfast is included. I paid 4 rueo's for a dorm bed but more plush options, with and without bathroom, are available. Good luck!
