Hi :)
In the beginning of August I'll have a flight connection with 8 hours available in Casablanca in the afternoon.

I will be my first time in Casablanca. What would be your suggestion for those 8 hours?
Visit the mosque is my obvious option, but will it be any other sights that I can enjoy during this time?
Taxi can be an option for me to go somewhere there.

Thanks.
Z

...... while Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco and one of the biggest in Africa, the area of most interest to tourists and visitors is small enough for a fit person to walk around, use petite city taxis, buses or the tram system.

From the railway station in the basement in of the arrivals hall at the Airport you can take a train to the city, Casa Voyageurs station might be a good start in Town, in front of the station you find trams, buses and taxis. Journey time about 30 minutes, a train every hour.

The Medina and the Hassan ll Mosque aren't far apart, try to see both.

I particularly enjoyed
Hassan II Mosque, huge and beautiful
Medina
Place Mohamed V
Art Nouveau area.
The Sacre Coeur cathedral
