I have read that there is continuous bus service only a couple of days a week. Does anyone know what days these buses run? How long does it take. Is it an overnight bus from Marrakesh? I would like to make the trip there in one day if possible and then take my time coming back, maybe stopping in Ouzarzate or Skoura.
Any info appreciated as I can't find any schedules online or in the guidebooks.

i have been into M'hamid twice in the big dunes of chegaga , i went twice via the bus, there are two buses to take , there is the CTM bus and there another private bus

Bus schedules are not on line, you will have to check when you arrive. Sorry.

I think the CTM bus goes to Zagora but I've never caught it. I'd be very surprised if there weren't a daily service. It would be pretty easy to get a bus to Ouazazarte (CTM and others also run to Tinerhir via Ouaz.) Then get a series of grand taxis to Zagora. They leave outside the bus station.
