Hi everybody, I wonder if there are people, who have been flying with Atlas Blue from Europe to Morocco and what they think about the service etc. Thanks in advance!

Hi! I just came back on their Marrakesh-Milan flight today and they are just fine. They're no-frills in the sense that you don't get any food or drink for free, but prices are very reasonable for airline catering, seats are comfy and there are no hassles, you don't feel like you're skimping it, as in, say, Ryanair or similars. Plus most of the seats were empty both on the way in and out, so I could stretch out and take a nap. The bus downtown from Marrakesh airport is reliable, and taxis have fixed rates that are clearly posted. So you should have no trouble at all.

What? The taxis do NOT have fixed rates. They charge 50-100 dirhams or more, depending on what they think they can get away with. I know the sign at the airport claims a set rate of 50, but someone forgot to tell the taxi drivers.
So, tell us about the new airport bus, which apparently has just gone into service. Fare? Will they allow you to take luggage?
Marocfan is right, taxi drivers charge what they think they can suck out of you. I always tell them I live in Morocco and that I am not a stupid tourist. Of course, I affect a fake forein accent to go along with the story, IT WORKS TOO! I never let anyone I am paying know I am an American!

The new bus is 20 DH. Will make change. Reliable. Can be found right beside the taxi stand just outside the airport. Did not charge for luggage and some people had some very large bags. Travels the hotel circuit into Marrakech. Took about 30 minutes if I recall correctly. Stops at the park on Ave. Mohamed V, just outside Djeema El Fna.
