Hi,
we are planning a short trip in november (5d/4n), and are considering a quick visit of Morocco. Coming from Belgium, we can fly into Fez, Marrakech or Agadir (and some other cities). Our first thought was a citytrip to either Marrakech or Fez, but actually, we are not really city-people, and prefer the outdoors and more remote location. So we would spend 1 or 2 night in the city, but would prefer a nice outdoor location for the remaining 3 (or 2) nights. We like to take some walks, and stay in a quite place, with ideally some good views and a nice night sky.
I have been doing some googling, and am thinking a combination of Marrakech and Imli might be good for us, but am not sure the weather is not too cold yet in november.
Do you guys have any other suggestions? Most actual desert tours I looked at seemed to be a lot of driving, and although a night in the desert sounds extremely good (we like night photography and don't have a lot of stars at home), I think we should keep that for when we have more time. We prefer mountains and deserts over sea, and don't need a lot of luxury. We have not booked any flights yet, so are still extremely flexible.
thanks,
An
