Hi,

I'm planning to have a 15 days (April - May period) trip to Morocco. I've heard wonderful and amazing stuffs about Morocco. I've itinerary in mind. I'm still skeptical about the desert tour/ might be too tiring due to tight schedule. My mode of transport will be bus/train.

Day 1 : Casablanca (Arrive)
Day 2-3: Casablanca / Rabat
Day 4-6: Chefchaouen
Day 6-8: Fes
Day 8-10 (Desert tour)
Day 11-13 Marrakesh
Day 14-15 El Jadida /Casablanca

p/s Is it hard to tour around Morocco with check in luggage?

Your advice will be thankful..

A "desert trip" from Fez to Marrakech will be too short in three days, you need to have at least four days.

Hi Irwan21,

I have a similar time to arrange an itinerary for except I will be starting in Agadir and ending in Tangier. [Details here https://www.lonelyplanet.com/thorntree/forums/africa/morocco/any-suggestions-for-an-itinery-for-a-two-week-trip-starting-in-agadir-and-ending-in-tangier) so I will be keeping an eye on this thread. We haven't considered Casablanca but people seem to be suggesting Immesouane and Essaouira which could be an option for you.

Hi Sofa99,

I've no choice but to go to Casablanca since I'll be arriving at Casablanca airport. I'm thinking of Essaouira too but I'll go if time permits me. Anyway I cannot open the link you send to me. I guess it's closed.

I have been to Morocco...tips for you if there is your first time in Morocco. Are you traveling alone? If so, you will be a target for scam. Somebody will approach in English...just don't say anything...make a sign that you are mute ...and can't talk. At Fes, be aware of the guides in front of the fes market. You can not go inside the market without a guide..they will insist. I recommend Essaouira and Mirleft...

Sorry, but this is ridiculous. People can't restrict you from public areas! Just because you fell for the scam don't put other visitors off.
