Hi,
Im off to Morocco in 2 weeks for 10 days and I cant wait. Ive been reading through the forum and as always have picked up loads of helpful tips. Theres so much to do and not a lot of time but Im going to try and squeeze as much in as poss. We're starting in Fez and finishing in Marrakesh and I was just wondering if it was possible to catch an overnight bus from Fes to Rissani? I read someones blog where they went from Marrakesh to Ouarzazate by grand taxi then hired a guide and 4x4 through the dades valley and stayed in Tinerhir and then hired another guide to Merzouga and did the overnight trek into the desert. I really want to do this route, will it be easy to hire guides going the other way? I would also love to go to a hammam and just wanted to check that I wont look silly if I go in bikini bottoms?

Thanks in advance

You would if you wear the bikini bottoms on the street going to the hammam, yes. In the hammam they would be fine.

NO NO...do wear just them on the street...it will liven up the scene.
And...just what is your question? Are you asking if you can hire a guide and his car for a portion of your trip? Or just a guide to take you around a town?
Re bus schedules, this has been asked before and the usual reply is the schedules change and are not on line.

OK, thanks. Was just wondering if its easy to go from the desert to Marrakesh using guides to take you from one place to another. I guess Ill have to wait till I get to Fes to see if I can actually make that route into the desert then.
Thanks

Why do you want to hire different guides? If you hire just one for the whole part of your trip that you need a guide for, you will probably pay less, as it is much more worth someones while to do a 3 or 4 day job than just one day.
Yes there is an overnight bus from Fes to Rissani, passing through Erfoud. It takes about 9 hours.

hello sir,
i think two weeks in Morocco is enough to see many places and to amuse with good landscapes , and different traditions, customs and cultures in general. Ur coming through these different cities is worthwhile.
I really have been in Morocco many times , it's a country of miricales and adventures. I like very well. but don't forget the south , i was in Merzouga twice and also in the big dunes of Morocco 300 metrets high called chegaga dunes, they are fantastic and wonderful ,to me it's the nicest place where i find my mood , i was there three times , i am sure that u will spend nice and unforgotable moments their.
i am coming this year too to Morocco and precisely to these big dunes for about one week.
good luck and good travel
