We would visit Madagascar in August.
I have just posted a draft of a 23-24-day itinerary ("Advice on north/east/St. Marie itinerary") in 2 parts:
1) Tana - Diego Suarez - Montagne d'Ambre - Ankarana - Diego - Tana (9 days).
2) Tana - Andasibe-Mantadia - Ankanin'ny Nofy - Toamasina-Parc Ivoloina - Ile St. Marie (6 days + .6 days on St. Marie).

Here I am asking a completely different question from the one I asked in my previous post.

I have found there is a problem with my itinerary.
The problem is that my mate (who has never been in Madagascar before) with such itinerary will not see some not-to-miss wildlife, such as Lemur Catta (ring-tailed) and Verreaux Sifaka, and she also will miss the southern sceneries which are quite very different.
Amber Mountain is lush rainforest, just like Andasibe-Mantadia.
They are different (and wonderful) places, of course, but perhaps they don't offer all the ample variety of lemurs and landscape that the island could allow.

We are quite convinced of part 2) of our itinerary, although we keep waiting for some suggestions of yours for improving it in detail.
So I am wondering what we could do with the scheduled 9 days of part 1), if we should head south instead of going north.
One idea for seeing Catta and Sifaka could be going to Fort Dauphin, as I have already visited Isalo NP and Anja Reserve (where Catta can be easily seen).
From Fort Dauphin we could do a day-trip to Evatraha/Lokaro, one to Andohahela, one to reserve de Nahampoina (which Dadamanga prefers to Berenty), plus a 2-day trip to Faux cap/Cap S.te Marie.
This way we could see Lemur Catta (ring-tailed), Verreaux Sifaka, many different southern sceneries.
But 9 days are probably a too many for Fort Dauphin, aren't they?
Any other idea?

What would you advice for the first 9 days of my itinerary?
1) sticking to my first choice (Diego, Amber Mountain, Ankarana);
2) Fort Dauphin and the deep south;
3) something else (bearing in mind that it must be south enough for seeing the above mentioned lemurs).

Thanks in advance.
