Hallo,
we are going to Madagascar in the half of December. So, there will be rain season. Could you give us advice about road conditions in this time. We will go by road from Tana to Morondava (Tsingas,...) and to Toliara (via Tana or directly to south from Morondava?). Is it normally possible?

Hello ,
December is rain season in this country so i would not suggest you go to Tsingy of Bemaraha and i think it's closed in November so i would to say go to the south Toliary the road is good and the landscaps is beautifull and don't forget to Andasibe where you'll find the largest lemur on the world just 03hours from Tana .I would to recommand you as freelnce guide who can organise your tour if you like this is his adress:fihlusko07@hotmail.com.
Good luck
Ken

Tana to Morondava is also a really bad road.

Bad road and Tsingi park will probably be closed.
As for road info you might want to check this out

however, it's in French or German only.

Travelled Morondava - Tana by 4x4 two weeks ago (23/24nov). Wasn' t all that bad. Consider a two day trip since the ride will take at 9 hours.

The only tricky part is south of Miandrivazo: 120km of road work. The Chinese are bussy there constructing waterducts under the road.

Good Luck, buckle up though!
