Hi
I need to make a decision on flying from Mahajanga to Tana or taking a Taxi-Brousse. I will have travelled from Antsiranana to Mahajanga. Will there be much change in scenery from that seen between Antsiranana and Mahajanga and that between Mahajanga and Tana.
I prefer going overland but due to time constraints and there being so many other things to see in Madagascar on this occasion I would be prepared to go by air if there is no compelling not to.

Hi,
If you will already have to travel Antsiranana to Mahajanga, it's better for you to fly between Mahajanga to Antananarivo, it's to long (12 hours in taxi brousse) and the most interesting ladscape in this region is Ambondromamy to Mahajanga, and during your trip Antsiranana to Mahajanga, you can already see it.

Hi. Yes, the route between Mahajanga and Tana is not at all interesting - with few short exceptions mostly bare dry land.

Have a good trip.
