Hi,

I went on a trip to Madagascar travelling solo. As a girl, it was not easy, so I would not advise you to do so, or perhaps I would ...
I had an amazing time there and everything worked out well.

I spent most of my time in Mahavelona (Foulpointe) and I was lucky enough to find - by chance - a wonderful guide for myself. The guy is not actually from Madagascar, he is originally from Seychelles, with the advantage that he not only speaks the local language but also English and French. He is reliable, an excellent guide, and can help you find accomodation at the best rates and he will even cook wonderful food for you. The name of the person is Gérard Both, and I am happy to provide you with his contact details if you get in touch.

I just made a little video of my holiday where you can see him tour guiding me on the beach, walking to Mahambo. Thanks. Nadia

I'm glad you had a good time. Interested to know why you stayed in Foulpointe, where you stayed there, how much it cost, and what it was like. This information is so useful to other travelers.

Hi, just watched your video on youtube, it looks amazing!

Me and my partner are planning to go to Madagascar this July or August. What month did you go in? We're curious to know what the weather is like in different seasons.

Thanks alot

Katie
