Hello!
Can anybody give me an idea of how much I have to expect paying for accomodation (what would be the cheapest options, in average) and food in Madagascar?
Also, I have checked flights from Africa and most flights from Kenya or South Africa are very expensive - could you recommend me something? I am planning to travel in spring from somewhere in East Africa.

Cheapest accommodation won't be on the web and will be very cheap indeed. In Tana I paid 30,000Ar at Ile Bourbon which was a delightful place, Sakamanga is often recommended and the prices have gone up as it has become more popular. Might I suggest you try Bradt guide, new edition published earlier this year for info.
