Anyone been to Beza-Mahafaly special reserve?

I passed through Betioky a few days ago on a taxi-brousse headed to Tulear. I was tempted to hop off and try my luck with Beza. However, the information in the Bradt Guide is old and looked like it would be subject to change without leaving any recourse for anyone who can not easily converse with the locals. I was also a bit concerned about the weather for the Zebu cart ride. Still tantalizing, however. While I don't expect to get a response to this message before I leave Tulear for Isalo, I would still like to hear from someone who has been to Beza vaguely recently.
