Dear All,
After some research I am about to decide which agency to use for my trip in Madagascar. I will be doing the South-West side, from Morondava to Toliara and I would like to know if any of you have had experiences either with GMT+3 Great Madagascar Tour (Anja ANDRIANJATO) or MTTC Madagascar Tour and Travel Company (Lalaina Ratsimba). I found both on the forum but while for the latter I read some very good feedback, for the former I've only read a post where a person got an offer and have no clue how it went. The prices they offered are very similar hence, I will base my choice upon your feedback.
Thank you very much.

Why an agency? Why not arrive and hire a car and driver?

Since you are asking for feedback then I would say that a good guide book is enough to help you get around Madagascar. Madagascar is not a difficult country to navigate around, but it is slow to get from place to place which a car and driver can help with. I always thought that going through a tour agency to visit a country is much like a kiss through a veil. You will miss the intensity of the experience of the place you are exploring.
