Hi,

I know that this topic comes up regularly, but there never seems to be a definitive answer.

Has anybody been personally stopped at a Tanzania/Kenya road border, and been asked to produce an International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever.

Thanks to all

Yes. I also had to show it at immigration of Zanzibar, coming from Tanzania mainland.
It's a vaccination worth getting as Tanzania is considered a country where YF occurs. YF is a very nasty illness and potentially lethal.

We travelled through the border between Kenya and Tanzania a few weeks ago (both directions) and weren't stopped either way. We did carry our certificate, but no-one asked to se it.
