Hi all,

Just a quick question for those with experience from this time of year, or are out in the field...

i plan to camp somewhat (but not all the time) whilst on my trip between mid Dec and mid Jan and i was wondering about night time temperatures? i know it depends on altitude, but is it essential to bring a sleeping bag? or can i make do with a sleep sac and borrow/rent blankets at the camp? Wanting to avoid carrying a sleeping bag unless essential - know of any particular great spots that are isolated/cold enough to warrant it?
What about hells gate NP? lake naivasha? Kakamega? lake bogoria/baringo? advice would be most helpful...

thanks,
atag

I guess lake Baringo would be fun , but incase you are looking for a mara adventure then you could join us, the cam in the mara has all the facilities we need.
