Hiya
We're thinking of going to Kenya in Sept or Oct this year for a couple of weeks.
Could anyone help out with an idea of prices, we'd like to climb mount kenya then do a mini safari.
thanks
Tiff

HI TIFF

i was in kenya and done the mt kenya climb in december 2007 i paid around 350-450 usd which is not bad
for one person (i think) it will be around 500 - 600 usd for 2 people i used a guy called peter mburu his website is www.realnature-expeditions.com</strong> he is a free lance guide. like u i was looking for a guide and prices thats the reason why i sighned up to this forum. A few people recomanded him to me and all had good things to say about him, thats why i choosed him. i was a bit worried as i payed a deposit but he stayed true to his words when i arrived in kenya.i was very happy with his services and also im gonna do mt kilimanjro with him hopefully in decemeber pending on when i can take my holidays. he all so deos safaris.

Am shocked the way touts/brokers and phishers have invaded this forum. Its time to stop.I recommend to verify all the recommendations including the so called kato registered companies with the ministry of tourism and confirm the validity of cleaniness of such operators.
Be wise and good luck.
