I have a one night transit through Nairobi, and was wondering if anyone could recommend a hotel very close to the airport to spend a few hours. Thanks

hi..the closest hotel to airport is Panari hotel...it is a really good hotel

Actually there are small sleeping rooms in the international terminal at JKIA airport, they are about $40 a night. They are at the far end to the left as you come off the plane (the far end to the right, the opposite end, is Java House), go down the stairs following the sign. I stayed there recently and they were safe and reasonably quiet. Shower and towel is included. Called something like Sleep and Shower.
