Hello all,
I know this question has been asked lots before but i'd really appreciate some up to date information!
1) Are there rooms / dorm style in Nairobi airport where you can bunk for the night? If so - where and how much are they?
2) Does anyone know of a cheap (reasonably), safe hotel close to the airport than i can use for a stopover between flights...?

There are sleep and shower rooms at the airport in Nairobi. Follow the gate numbers until you pass gate 4. Look out for some stairs on the left, with a sign to Gate 3. You can go down there, or go a little further to the lift. Down one floor and then in the same direction and you'll see Sleep and Shower on your left.
The rooms look clean ish. There is a kitchen on the small side, fitted out with cups, plates, kettle and microwave plus coffee, tea and sugar. Visitors can make their own drinks but meals have to be brought in and reheated in the microwave. Sorry, didn't see a price list.
