Kenya for independent low-cost travellers: all you need to know!

Hello travellers.
We were in Kenya, as independent low-cost travellers, our last country after 8 months in southern and eastern Africa.
Kenya is diverse, easy to move around with public transport, matatus are everywhere, cheap.
Many local lodges, so finding a cheap in towns is easy... and also in smaller places like Baringo or Maralal.
Game parks; expensive fees, so hard to go on cheap safari in Kenya and east Africa (cheaper in southern countries).
Want to see authentic Kenya, remote villages, tribes...? Just go to Mararal, from Nyahururu. And if time, further north. Great! Even wild life on route.
