Sorry Christopher, I really got it wrong, it will be 100 USD. I came home only yesterday, so I must have been tired...
I wonder if a single country visa will still be available, I guess not. Thanks for drawing my attention!

I have not heard that the national visas will be abolished and I doubt Kenya will get rid of its $50 visa. But I stand to be corrected.

A fairly in depth article about the single visa but still no date other than the same, vague 'next month' that appeared in the Kenyan and Ugandan press a few days ago

I tweeted Kenya Immigration about retention of the single country visa but didn't get a reply so I tried the Chairman of the Mombasa and Coast Tourist association as he's usually on the ball and pretty hot on Twitter and he said it will be retained
