"deluxe"-matatu (7-seater) to isiolo

hi,

does anybody know, where this "deluxe"-place is?
is it just the normal matatu-place in nairobi downtown?

Hi Rainer,
These are minivans designed like safari tour vans with only seven seats. Normal matatus have 14 seats. So there is extra space for your legs and the seats are more comfortable. You can board these matatus at River road in down town Nairobi. They are relatively more expensive though.

They cost about 25% more than the 14-seaters, well worth it. Be aware that prices have jumped due to the holiday season and the ban on night travel which has reduced seat availability.
