You seem to be one worried guy, Rainer. I don't know if you have arrived in Africa yet, but if you have, I suggest you just get on with it. Go to the bus stage we indicated to you and get started on your trip. The ban on night buses is still in force, with only a few bus companies certified to travel at night. My hunch - and it is only a hunch - is that the Marsabit route will be operating in the daytime.
And with all due respect I'd like to add that if you are like some of he people on here who fret about safety, it's best to stay in Europe! Of course this is Africa - there is no guarantee of anything.

dear christopher,
thank you for all your information!
i was already 10-times in africa!
6-times in black- and 5-times in arabic-africa!
my experience says:
the beginning is sometimes the most dangerous part of your journey!
you are not fimiliar to the situation of your starting point at all!
that makes me, maybe only me, a lttle unsecurely!
regards,
rainer.
