hey guys...
im looking for the best way to get from nairobi to livingstone for new yrs.... ive found airfaires for $800AUD but thats way more than i want to spend.. we are no rush to get to livingstone, we have about one week and are keen to catch buses/local transport.. but just wondering what we should expect.. just to let you know i am a 23 yr old aussie girl and i will travelling with my boyfriend... is it easy to orgainse when we are there? how much roughly are we looking at? we are open minded and dont mind roughing it what so ever.. any advice from personal experice or any knowledge you have would be fantastic!

You can take the bus from KLA to Dar in Tanzania and from there either the TAZARA railway to Zambia (Kapiri Mposhi) and bus from there to Livingstone. I guess it will take 6 days.
You can also find the bus from Dar to Lusaka instead of TAZARA - that is around 36 hours (and then after that bus ride you don't need to drink for new years ewe - you will be dizzy enough!
