Thanks

Can't really comment on that company. We used Plan Safari Ltd- http://www.plansafari.com
They are not a budget company and their tours are more of private. They will really take care of you as two girls not unless you are looking for group thing.

I sent emails to most travel agents recommended by lonelyplanet, they are not budget ones, I guess if you are time flexible, you can just look for around when you arrive in Nairobi and negotiate the prices.

Their 10-day, US$1,000 safari package looks almost too good to be true. But on closer inspection I saw they enter only a few parks, which helps keep the price down; the rest of the time is spent on cultural visits and other cheaper activities. Still, if it is a legit offer, it should go down well with the budget crowd. I haven't used All Seasons myself.

I don't know how cheap you need to go, but last year four of us had a four-day three-night safari with Explorer Kenya that took in Nakuru and Masai Mara and we had a night in a fairly basic but OK hotel followed by two nights in a reasonably good tented camp on the edge of the Mara. We had a well-maintained safari van (pop-top) to ourselves and the driver-guide was good.

You might like to ask them for a quote.

Hi,
I've been to Kenya a few times and I was always very satisfied with Servalcat safaries http://www.africanservalcatsafaris.com/
Very professional, fast responses and great service once I was there.
Did the first trip with 3 other girls and the second time alone. Not a problem at all.
Another one I can reccommend is Bush & Events Africa. http://www.bushandevents.com
I am going with them in September on a George and Joy Adamson legacy trip!

All seasons are somewhere in the middle, not the very best, and not the worst. It is an average tour company. Professionalism rating at 60%, not a bad idea. Servalcat Safaris, though a small outfitter, they are far better than All Seasons, professional. I will highly recommend them over All Seasons.

SS.

I would recommend Sato Safaris. They are really nice and you could do more activities like yoga in Masai Mara as they work with The Africa Yoga Project too.
