Anyone know what is considered sufficient funds per day when applying for a Ghana visa? Thanx

I don't think the amount matters much, but roughly $100 per day should be ok. When my parents applied for a tourist visa to visit me earlier this year, they put down $1000 each per week in the application. They were never asked to produce evidence of this amount in any way.

I assume this may vary, depending on where you're from. A middle aged Scandiavian would never be told to produce evidence of financial strength, while they'll probably look into the bank statements of a young Congolese guy applying for a tourist visa.

Thanx, a friend of mine is applying for a tourist visa (she's US) and on the visa app. it states to supply a bank statement. So she's wondering how much a day they'll be looking for, as it's $150, it'd suck to loss that cuz the bank statement is too low.
