Hello
Coming from Mali, I'm planning to visit the south- west and south part of Burkina, both around Bobo and Tiebele and then cross for Kumasi in Ghana. I hoped i will be able to skip Ouaga as my time is limited and everyday counts.
1. Is there a transport from Bobo to Ghana?
2. Is there a transport from Tiebele to Ghana?
3. Should I break my journey somwhere in the northern parts of Ghana [I'm not interested in visiting Mole] or is it possible to travel straight up to Kumasi without feeling too miserable?

Thank you!

you can take Rakieta bus from Bobo to diebougou and then hamele and then bus on the ghanean side (need to walk across to ghana side of the border)
tiebele you need to ge to PO, which is on the main road (it is from PO you go to tiebele any way)
you may also go from bobo via ouaga to po (whithout leaving the bus stop in ouaga/ with STMB, not sure that TCV does Po, but it might, you will find that out at TCV station in Bobo)
BObo to Tiebele by skipping Ouaga is an interesting but not straightforward option, since i am not sure if there are any regular buses from Diebougou to Po)

There should be a TCV bus that will go from Bobo - Kumasi via Ouaga.

As of June it was going on Sunday nights at 23h00 and arriving in Kumasi the next day around 21h00 (the arrival time could be off since I just wanted a shower and a Star).
The schedule at the TCV station will say that the bus goes Saturday and all the way to Accra, but in June it didn't. Be sure to confirm with the person at the ticket booth, as we saw some people get confused and show up on the wrong day and to find out they were still a bus ride short of their destination. I remember it costing about 23,000 CFA.
