Does anyone have any recent info on the current situation; are the villages within the "reserve" still occupied?
The most recent reports I find date back to '06-'07 which detail an upsurge in activity by The Wildlife Department and the sinking of an overloaded boat being used to remove evictees.

The Digya National Park covers an area of 3,478 km2 and is situated on the western shores of the Volta Lake. The article here provides some more background.

Any news appreciated, thanks.

Hello anonymous inquirer,
if you have a real need to know this,
then why not contact the authorities in Kwame Danso ?
I don't doubt they will be happy with any help you can give.

What arrogance #2! Who do you think you are talking to people like that?
