Hi all
I'm trying to plan an overland trip to West Africa and i'm thinking of flying back to the UK from Ghana. However, searching for a one way ticket is proving a bit problematic on the internet as most airlines seem to have London as the start destination on their websites. Also, there doesn't appear to be a Ghana International Airlines in operation any more. It looks like a number of airlines fly to the UK via european stop-offs, though BA and Virgin seem to fly direct but at a premium price. Has anybody bought a one way ticket recently and can recommend the best way of doing this? Is it best to wait till i'm in Ghana and buy one there or can i order a ticket in the UK by phoning one of the agencies, ie http://www.7-continentstravel.co.uk/Flights-to-Accra.html
I noticed that Air Maroc fly from Lagos as well as a few others. Although i wasn't planning on going to Nigeria would it be easier to get a flight from there to London?
Any advice much appreciated.
Andy
