Hi. I plan to visit Ghana in this November and consider visiting the Bui National Park. Yet, I have found information on the internet that filling of the Bui dam already started and so it needs to be expected that chances to enjoy this Park will be seriously ruined after this rain season. It was specifically mentioned that the riparian forest near the Volta river will start to be be partly flooded. Does anybody have information about current situation - is there any chance of the delay in these plans or have the filling already started for real? Thanks.

Vaclav, sorry but I can't help. Maybe you could ask at some Ghanaian forum if this and other travel fora can't help. I suggest www.ghanaweb.com or maybe www.omanbaforum.com.

Anyway, I mostly posted to say thank you for your site with details about your travels :-)
