Hi there!

I will be in Ethiopia mid March - mid April. I have been to Ethiopia a few times before, but I have never visited the South. So this time I really hope to visit the Omo Valley. Would anyone be keen to look for a tour together and to share costs?

Hope to hear from you!

Hi Elleni,

Yes I am interested. The timing works pretty well for me. I am about to book my flight to Ethiopia and I would be good to head to the South from the 24th March from Addis Ababa.

My interests are around photography and seeing the life of the tribal groups in the Omo Valley.

I don't know how organised you want to be. Currently I am emailing guides to get a read on prices and itineraries. The most likely looking trip for me is an 8 day loop around the Omo Valley (departing from Arba MInch and returning to Arba Minch). The all inclusive cost I have been quoted is US $350 per day. I also have a trip outline for a 12 day loop going through Kibish and taking in things on the western side of the Omo River.

Get back to me if you are interested and I can get some details to you and we can also discuss options.

Cheers,
Ian

Hi Elleni and/or Ian,

Just wondering if you have already started your Omo trip? I hope to be there in a few weeks and have been looking for a guide. If you can share any tips for guides/experiences or are starting your trip any later and still looking to share a guide/costs please contact me. I'm most interested in South West (Kibish) to start with.

Many thx.
