4. Beware of myguzo who is self promoting against all the rules of this forum.

You can get a VPN that helps to bypass the blocking to get into FB etc. Hmm - but how to get it when Play Store etc is blocked - use Bluetooth. Don't ask me how - I got a young person to do it for me.

Thank you very much for the information. I know the reliability issues of the land based Ethiopia internet based on my last experience, and that is why I need to be sure about the mobile services for my work at home while travelling in the country. I hope by January, before the major holidays, the government can fully lift restrictions in all tourist related areas.

Thank you for the tips; it is very good to know such a bypass could be a working solution in Ethiopia. I know how to use VPN. There are even some free ones with good quality and reliability.
