Questions Anybody?

Not sure how much you want to write. My family will be doing the same trip except Adwa. At this point i plan to make all bookings myself and if i need guides hire on the spot. Any advice on this? In all but Adwa any accomodation suggestions? We want clean but budget. Did you do Gondar to Axum by road? If so what kind of transport?

I would be interested in how you did the trip, fly, private car or public transport? Also, did you use guides in the places you visited? if so, did you like having a guide? How much you paid for the trip (Transport, hotels, guides?)?

Hi, we are thinking about going to Ethiopia. But people tell us that it is difficult and dangerous to travel alone. I am not affraid of the difficulties (it will not be our first trip), but more of the dangers. And we don't like to travel by groups. How did you travel over there?

Not difficult, not dangerous. Most of the people posting here traveled alone--and at least you have a "we" to travel with. :)

we're doing an adoption trip in 1 week, dropping(hoping to) a big duffle in Bole before traveling to cairo for 4 days then BACk to Addis......... are tehre storage lockers in Bole airport?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH! as you can imagine, pulling all this off in a week and a half is daunting at best.. (we got "the call" on Friday before memday) and leave on the 3rd!?!?!?!

how about a rec on a good beer bar in addis?
