Hi guys n gals !

Have a standing invitation to visit Lodwar and since im a serious birder the badlands of the Omorate n norther Kenya is tempting. I know there is traffic from Kenya to the Omorate (pickups) so there must be traffic returning too. An israeli i met in Nairobi walked (illegaly) overland towards Lodwar but i do not have his military training. There is a border crossing around Todenyang. Repeated mails to Kenyan immigrations unsurprisingly doesnt yield anything.
Would appreciate any info (also on independent travel in the region since it seems to be an issue) !

cheers
