I would really appreciate if you give me a piece of advice:
1. is it feasible to exchange money at Bole Airport during night hours on Sunday or Saturday???
2. what is the situation with money exchange - USD in Lalibella, Gondar and Bachir Dar - easy to get and exchange rate???

There is a little counter before you enter the "immigration hall". So change your money before leaving the "immigration hall"!
Gonder, Lalibela, Bahir Dar have banks and therefore the possibility to change USD into Birr. Exchange rate for example for Dashen bank should be all the same for whole Ethiopia.

I left Addis on January 29th, the rate was 11 bir for 1 dollar, at the airport there are two banks, for for the one called Commercial bank, it has better rate that the other one.

it's open all the time, I arrived on Saturday nigh after 20 PM and the new people/staff just arrived for the night shift, I think it is accutally open 24/7
Just for the record, I would like to add the following advice: The bank inside the airport is supposed to be open 24 hours, but there have been times I have arrived in the middle of the night and no one is there. You can try to ask around in the airport where the responsible person is.
The Sheraton bank is open 24 hours to exchange money. There are also a few ATMs (there might be in the airport too???Don't know!) around the city that accept foreign cards 24 hours.
