from ethiopia to eritrea

All land borders (with Sudan, Djibouti and Ethiopia) are not accessible. You also need a travel permit to travel more than 25 km outside of Asmara anyway, though I don't know how readily that is enforced. You also will need an exit permit to leave, and it sounds like they are pretty arbitrary in denying these (though maybe that particular problem is reserved for diplomats and dual nationals). I would love to go to Eritrea, but the current situation makes it pretty difficult to impossible.
