No visas at land borders.

I don't know the current price but you need to have it in advance. It's not possible to have one at any border post.

Impossible to have a Sudanese one at the border. You need to ask your visa in advance.
I don't know for Egypt. I think that depending your nationality you can have one on the ferry (when you leave Wadi Halfa to Egypt) or at least on arrival. I had read some reports in the past.

You should be able to get your Sudan visa in Addis Ababa.

Egypt is in the process of changing its visa regulations (i.e. termination of Visa on Arrival for air passengers) so it's anybody's guess what the situation is on the ground. Again you may be able to get in Addis Ababa.

1. Ethiopia tourist visa one month NOW $50. You MAY be able to get it in Nairobi., certainly NOT at Border.
   Ask at Pretoria Ethiopian Embassy.

2. Normally possible to get Sudan Visa at their Consulate in Addis - just south of Mexico Square.

Hey everyone! I'm traveling on an American passport and will have an extended layover in Addis Ababa. Does anyone know if I can get a visa on arrival at the airport? If so, what is the fee if there is one?
