I am planning on climbing mount Kenya in early September 2015, and then up north to Ethiopia for a 4 day tour of the Danakil Depression and a 4 day trek in the Bale mountains.

I'm planing to fly in to Adis around Sep 12th and fly out by Oct 10th.
As I love hinking, trekking, and the simple way of traveling I'm looking for a travel Buddy through Ethiopia as well.

I have a flight to Addis on the 10th of September, and I want to fly to Nairobi the following day (still haven't booked a ticket for that). After climbing Mt. Kenya the plan is to return to Ethiopia and then go on a 4-day trek to the Danakil depression, and if I have time left after that - on a 4 day trek in the Bale mountains.
My fight out of Addis is on the 4th of October, so it will be a bit tight...
Does that work for you?

I also would like to see some cultural spotts. thats really important for me! And I heard Lake Tana and Simien Mountains great as well...
Oh ja, I almost forgot... I'm always on a tight budget :D

As Anne I'm on a tight budget so I don't know if I will make it to Danakil... which looks absolutely amazing... and absolutely expensive. But trekking around Bale Mountains yes for sure I'm up for it. Btw I have a 2persons tent.
I'm on my way to Ethiopia, in Egypt and slowly traveling overland to Sudan and Ethiopia that I think to reach around beg of August. And I plan to stay there for at least a few months. I might have found some flatsharing in Addis too. And just to let you know, I already got a lot of positive answers through couchsurfing, so it's a good way of reducing the costs ; )
