Hello people,
Im trying to figure out the best way to travel between these places. At first I thought of flying each leg, but it seems that there are no direct flights between Bahir Dar and Lalibela, and Lalibela to Mekele. I'll definitely fly Addis-BD and Mekele-Addis. Does one still get a discount on domestic flights if arriving to Ethiopia on Ethiopian Airlines?
How long does BAhir Dar to Lalibela take by bus? And what's the fastest way to get from Lalibela to Mekele (for Tigray)? I'll have 10 days to complete this trip. Or should I drop one of the places, or replace one with Harar?

Also, will I see more pilgrims in Lalibela on a Sunday than other days? I'll be there some time in July.
Sorry for the rambling questions. Hopefully some can give some insight.
Thanks

Thanks for the tips.
The more I came to think about it, the more I'm leaning towards leaving Tigray out of the itinerary. It seems that doing Tigray on my own will be expensive (transport, entrance fees, paying every second person). Also, because I want to be in Lalibela on a Sunday will meant that I'll have to start my trip in Lalibela, which is in the middle, which doesn't make a lot of sense.

So this is what I'm thinking:

Saturday: Arrive Addis. Fly to Lalibela
Sunday:Lalibela
Monday:Lalibela
Tuesday: Lalibela-Bahir Dar (Bus, or is there a flight? How long is the minibus/ bus?)
Wednesday:Bahir Dar (Blue Nile Falls) -afternoon flight to Addis
Thursday: Addis to Bale Mountains
Friday: Bale
Saturday:Bale
Sunday:Bale
Monday:Bale
Tuesday: Bale-addis
Wednesday: Addis -fly home

Im not sure about the Bale part yet. What I do know is that I'd like to spend some time in a less popular/populated place. And I really want to do a horsetrek and be out in nature. Because of the horstrek I choose Bale and not Simiens.
