Hello all,I have asked before about driving in Egypt.
I am not thinking about driving in Cairo,but going down the Nile.
So how crazy is the driving once out of Cairo ?
I have driven in place like Turkey,Iran and Jordan,so do you think I could handle driving in Egypt?
My alternate is a driver,but cost could be an issue.If you have any information about that please let me know.Looking into having a driver for a week to 3 weeks.I'd like to know how much approximately.

Can anyone recommend a good company for cruising the nile on a Felucca? I can manage primitive toilet conditions, having spent last 6 months in S Sudan, but a little comfort would be welcome.

I'm going to be visiting for three weeks; I just need something for local calls/texts. It doesn't have to be smart, although an alarm clock would be nice.

With all the news about safety concerns I am trying to do some research how risky it is. I will be alone and using local safari tour operator. Also we are going to spend a night in a desert. I am a western female and thinking of traveling alone in Egypt for around 15 days toward the end of July. I have a few questions about my travel plans & threats of terrorism given the recent attack on Luxor (June 10, 2015), and recent 2 police that were killed by a driver by shooter at the Giza pyramids.

I have recently had an interview to be a Kindergarten Teacher within a Public School In Cario. I am very nervous, I tell one person about this opportunity and they are so excited for me and then I tell someone else and they are outraged saying no way and how dangerous it is there.

Can I have any input? real honesty input? Should I work there for a year, would this be a worthwhile year old experience or is it not worth it? I haven't committed to it yet... Im becoming very unsure.
