Hey guys,
I'm looking for information on the Aladin tours that are offered by the Nefertiti Hotel in Luxor.
Has anyone been on this and how was it? Is it worth taking?
Thanx for the help.
General comments about the Nefertiti hotel would be appreciated aswell.
I am looking for suggestions on "the best" time of the day to see various attractions around Egpyt, with the fewest crowds.
The obvious first suggestion would be to go immediately at opening, so I guess I am only looking for the exceptions.
My list so far:
1) Abu Simbel. Sounds like the convoy from Aswan is there for sunrise, so opening is packed (I've heard)
2) Khan al Kalili only after 9 pm (thanks CATW)
PLEASE LET ME KNOW OF OTHERS. THANKS
Hello all!
We'd love to get the peanut gallery's input on low-cost but not Hella Dank, bottom-o-the barrel accomodation in Cairo?!! We are a family of three that includes and 11 yr-old and hope to spend no more (or considerably less) than $40-$50 (USD) per nite for all of us for 3-4 nites, with ensuite potty preferred, not too long a slog to the Museum etc . . . I'm looking at Osiris, Pension Roma (how do you get ahold of them, by the way? Is it strictly via telephone?), possibly Carlton…
hi, i would like to know that anything about alexsander. i am planning to travel there within this month after cairo. so PLS tell anything about it, where to see, where to eat... THX!
Can anyone recommend an interesting place in Cairo, perhaps around Heliopolis, where I could meet interesting English speaking people to talk to about current events.
thanks
Would anyone be able to tell me what the Sunrise and Sunset times are in Sinai area (Sharm, Dahab) around mid December?
We though of letting every one know about this hostel. We loved our stay at The Australian Hostel, it was clean, friendly and in a great central spot, it had a relaxed family atmosphere and the staff are extremely helpfull! We would recommend it to anyone, you cant beat it!
The staff would have to be the highlight here as it was very nice to be picked up from the airport especially late a night and be greeted happily enough despite the arrival time. It also is in a pretty good location as there…
Maybe a very "uninteligent" question (!), but can someone describe what this is?
And why it´s worth going there?
Thanks!
we are thinking of going to Egypt with a 1 year old and a 3 year old. Pre kids we'd strike off and backpack around but now we're a bit more conservative in our approach.
Any suggestions? We want some where that we can stay for the 7 days, won't be too much hassle, a pool or beach will satisfy the kids while we (one at a time) can do a day trip out and about.
Hello everyone,
Is it safe to have tickets for flying during the trip with you?
Is it safe to leave them in a hostel?
Should i keep them with me?
I'm used to travel with e-tickets...
Thanks!
Olive
