I have been trying to find out whether I have to buy a visa in London before entering Cairo, or whether I can buy one at the airport. Everyone seems to say that I can buy it in Cairo but the Egyptian Consulate in London says I can't (they say a UK passport-holder can, but a NZ passport holder must buy one before travelling.)

Can anyone tell me if they've done it?
