Hi guys,

I've got a connecting flight going through Cairo in late September. I had not even really considered that the unrest in Egypt might affect flights until a friend told me she hoped I'd still be able to fly...

Do you think there is ground for worry?

Thanks in advance

transit flights are not affected by security problem.

At the moment, you wouldn't have problems to make it. In the future, who knows what will happen?

....... the Airport should be secure, its strategically important to the "government", its security of the up-most importance. However, there's always a chance of an attack by a desperate and determined individual, might come from within the ranks of the security forces, as it did when President Sadet was assassinated.
